The selected content is a personal testimony by Dorothy McDonald regarding her spiritual journey and the founding of the Crazy Cat Sanctuary and Black Cat Rescue. After living with chronic migraine and Fibromyalgia since age 16, she found divine comfort through her faith and the companionship of her cats, starting with her first cat, Matilda. This connection eventually led her to open a sanctuary that now cares for nearly 50 residents, including senior and abused cats. She describes God as a personal, comforting father figure who transformed her chronic pain into a mission of healing for “broken angels”.

She is a full blood Black Bombay cat who came to the humans of Crazy Cat Sanctuary even before the thought of a rescue or sanctuary made its presence known.
