What God as Father Means to Me: A Personal Testimony

After living with chronic migraine and Fibromyalgia since age 16, she found divine comfort through her faith and the companionship of her cats, starting with her first cat, Matilda. This connection eventually led her to open a sanctuary that now cares for nearly 50 residents, including senior and abused cats. She describes God as a personal, comforting father figure who transformed her chronic pain into a mission of healing for “broken angels”.

It’s a nice Tuesday morning with the sun shining and a cool 72 degree temperature when Dad calls for breakfast. As Sister puts out the kibble, and we all dive in, Dad calls for specific cats, “Tiger Tye, Minnie, Misty, breakfast.” Misty and Minnie answer, but no, Tiger Tye. Ten minutes later, he calls again. As he does, he looks down the drive and notices us and our strange behavior as we search way down to the street.
