March 22, 2021 Hide & Seek: The Story Of An Abused Kitty The following story is one reason Crazy Cat Sanctuary and Black Cat Rescue exist. Hi, my name is Ms. Boots. I would not be here telling this story if it were not for a team effort between a sweet lady named Monica Webb and Crazy Cat Sanctuary and Black Cat Rescue. My humans can only speculate as to what happened to me before Ms. Monica found me at Meade County Animal Control, but it was not nice. I did not show any signs of physical abuse, but by my reaction to them, I showed I had been beaten and I showed signs of verbal abuse by my reaction to loud voices.
October 27, 2020 The Story of a Viking This girl’s life at the Sanctuary all started on day two at the rescue the team, Mark and Dorothy, did in Meade County (link to Smokey). They were out on-site when they counted not two, but three cats left to catch. When they left the day before they only had two now they have two plus one BIG CAT. She is almost too big for the biggest rescue trap we had. It’s a good thing she is very friendly and a fresh dump. Smokey who is the leader of the pride at the rescue site takes her in and when Mark and Dorothy show up he is sure to let them know about the new arrival.
